What is your COVID Policy?

OUR POLICY HAS CHANGED:

Consistent with current CDC guidelines as well as that of the venue and the State of Florida, there will be NO REQUIREMENT for showing a negative COVID test or vaccination status.

 

Our main venue is open-air (covered with a canopy), mask-wearing is encouraged, but NOT required, as per CDC guidance.

  • Current guidelines allow us to operate at full capacity.

  • GroundUP Music Festival staff and crew follow CDC Covid-19 protocols

  • Hand sanitizers are available throughout the venue, and we have implemented cleaning policies for all public spaces including the bathrooms.

  • Persons attending events at GroundUP Music Festival acknowledge an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19  in any public place where people are present.

  • GroundUp Music Festival reserves the right to remove any guest from the facility who refuses to follow Covid-19 and other public safety guidelines.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.

If you request a ticket refund due to officially diagnosed COVID-19 infection we ask that you provide a copy of a positive test result from an official testing facility with the official quarantine timeframe overlapping the festival. If you are unable to attend the festival either because of the date change or COVID related issues, we request that you hold your passes over to the February 2023 GroundUP Music Festival.

Is it an All Ages event?

Yes! The festival is for all ages.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, we tried, but the venue rules are no pets allowed at the festival.

Is there free admission for kids?

Yes. Kids 10 and under are admitted free. (Not for 13½ year-olds pretending to be 10, though...)

Can I bring food or drink to the festival?

Sorry, no outside food or drink is allowed— but you'll have great options from top local chefs.

I want to see every band! Are there any conflicting performances?

Absolutely not. The festival was designed so that you won't have to choose between any of the artists' performances.

Is exit and re-entry permitted?

Unrestricted re-entry is available to all Premium Pass ticketholders. GA ticketholders will be permitted re-entry up until 6PM daily.

Will ticket holders from the cancelled 2021 Festival have admission?

For ticket holders to our February 12-14, 2021 Festival that was postponed due to COVID, please contact us at info@gumfoundation.org

if you are planning to attend the 2022 festival. We will reissue you updated tickets upon request.

Where is the festival actually located?

The GroundUP Music Festival is at the North Beach Bandshell: 7275 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Fl 33141. Late Night shows will be held at The Citadel (8300 NE 2nd Ave., Miami Beach)

Is the GroundUP Music Festival rain or shine?

YES. Good thing it doesn’t rain much at this time of year in Miami. Last year, the weather at the festival was perfect, sunny, with an average temperature of about 78° F.

Can I record video or audio of the performances?

Professional recording devices are not permitted, but you're welcome to use your cell phone! (and get social! #GUMFEST2022)

Is the venue accessible by foot or by bike?

The Concert Bandshell is accessible through the Miami Beach Trail and concert goers can easily walk, jog or ride along the path.

Is parking available near the festival?

There is parking in the lot across the street from the North Beach Concert Bandshell and in several nearby public lots. A parking map will be available here closer to the time of the festival.

When will you announce the Late Night Shows?

We are working to make sure the Late Night Shows are both the most entertaining experiences they can be as well as COVID safe, so we will be announcing more details on the Late Night Shows closer to the festival dates. Please be patient as we work on finalizing these details.
